Bannerghatta is a great place in Bangalore and kids love it. This amazing place, which is a close city, is the star attractions of many. It includes Bannerghatta national park that is a must visit for all. Kids surely love to know more about the national park and the existing animals. One of the star attractions of this trip for Bannerghatta national park is its safari trip. You can see so many animals like beer, lions and tigers in your safari trip. Animals are free and you see them as if they are roaming around in their own jungle. There is no captivation. They are free in their own life.

When we planned our trip to Bannerghatta, we started our mini safari trip. When you start the journey, you will pass through bear enclave. You may see few bears idling by the roadside and it feels great to see them roaming around like a free bird. Further it takes you to Lion Enclave, if you are lucky enough then you may see few lion and lioness. Further there is a tiger enclave and we saw 2-3 tigers roaming around. There was a white tiger that was dozing off in sun and it was hardly 8-10 feet from the bus. You may find royal Bengal tigers too. It is a great experience getting in touch with these Bengal tigers.

Bannerghatta would be a great experience. If you have a weekend and if you have kids with you, then surely you must visit Bannerghatta national park, you and your kids would love the place. You should maintain the time limit and know at what time in morning you must go to visit the national park. You must try to visit this place in month of April. You will find it worth an amazing experience.

I would rate it 4 out of 5 stars. It is commendable that they have maintained a national park in a place so close to city of Bangalore.

Gokarna may not be the place for family outing but it is surely a great place to visit with friends. When we came to this place, we saw so many foreigners in this place. When you are with family, then it may not be so easy with family to visit this place. But this place is a great place that has natural beauty. We preferred to visit this place with bus. There are so many buses that run from Karnataka. We booked the bus with the help of KSRTC. You can also get many other options for staying in this place of Gokarna.

You have great option of tasty food here. In fact, you can enjoy staying in this place with awesome food habit. You get all types of cuisines here. You must try to go for sea food. Apart from food and weather, you have good option for number of beaches. There are almost 5 beaches in Gokarna. These beaches are named as Gokarna beach, which may be compared to be as most dirty amongst all. You may find so many sadhus here and all of these sadhus have the continuous visit to temple. Another beach is Om beach, which is clean and accessible by road. Kudle beach is yet another beach, which is 5 minutes trek from Om beach. This beach is also said to be very clean. Paradise beach and Moon beach are yet other beaches that are very famous in Gokarna.

All the beaches are easily accessible by road. Apart from beaches, you have so many temples. Shiva temples are famous one. If you are a party going kind of person, you would surely enjoy your stay in Gokarna. If you have a long group then surely, you will have more fun and enjoyment in your trip.

I would recommend this place of untouched beauty to be rated as 4.5 out of 5 stars. The beaches and the weather of the place are just too awesome for any kind of group.

Recently when we visited St Mary’s Island, it was an amazing experience all together. When we visited this place we found it totally charming. This time, it was our sixth trip and the same enthusiasm was there. This is situated to off coast of Maple. In Fact, it is located at 75 kms from Mangalore. You get to spend 2-2.5 hours on the island and if you want to stay for more time, you can request the same to the boatman. You are allowed to carry your own food, drinks and everything on the boat. In fact, you can even get your own tasty fish fries that are sold there. Between the times of June till September, there are no boat rides. The main reason for this is heavy monsoon that is seen in this time.

The best time to travel to this place is said to be October to May. You can enjoy the boat rides and everything. When we reached the place, we booked our stay at Paradise Island Resort and to be very straight, we had wonderful time staying there. Every arrangement was very perfect. This made the trip more awesome. We reached early morning and tried to get the first boat that was around 9 am in morning. There were almost 30 people in the journey. When you are going in boat, you will see so many columnar joints there. All this is due to initial formation of earth. There had been many movies that have been shot here in this beautiful island.

The boat in charge will help you with all details as when to come back. You can also enjoy the loading and UN loading of fish on dockyard. Although you do not have accommodation facility in St Mary’s Island but you can enjoy your accommodation at Udupi.

I would rate this place as 3.5 from 5 stars as there may be some initial issues of staying or finding a good accommodation. But the place is truly enjoyable and you will have wonderful experience.

One of the best picnic spot is Malpe Beach. It is also said to be one of the main attraction of Mary’s Island. It is the virtuous beach and it has unfolded golden sand. It is 6 km from Udupi and it is very much famous for its golden sand beaches. When I went there, I just loved the view. I went there with my friends and it involved breathtaking views of sea. It is also considered to be idyllic for boating, fishing and all such activities. Although you may not get much thing for shopping here but you would enjoy roaming around the place.

We started our journey from Udupi and took our bus from the bus stand. The auto that we took, it left us on the beach. We went in the time of holiday and it was completely crowded place. There were so many tourists that were roaming around freely in the beach area. There are various water sports that are available on the beaches. If you are a sporty person, then you would love all kinds of water sports that are here on the beach. You would not get any kind of issue with staying in Maple beach. There is lots of option for hotels and other kinds of stay. There are many foreign tourists that are coming here in this place.

There are so many palm trees and it could be considered to be one of the ideal places for vacation. Whether you are planning to visit with the family or friends, you are surely going to enjoy your stay here in Maple beaches. I had an amazing experience with this beach side holiday trip. So enjoy your activities with your stay in this holiday trip.

I would give this place rating of 4 out of 5 stars. You would enjoy the lovely beach experience with family as well as friends.

This temple is basically devoted to lord Shiva. The main object that is worshipped here is linga. The unusual fact about this temple is that it is devoted to Shiva, Hindu lord but this temple is run by Jain administrator. We had a great stay in Bangalore and it was one weekend when we decided to know more about Dharmasthala. We have had so much about the priests and poojas that we thought of attending one complete day pooja at Dharmasthala. The name Dharmasthala means religious place, where Dharma means religion or deity, and Sthala means places.

We booked our own car and the complete stay was peaceful. In fact, I heard so many negative things about the place. But the moment I entered the place, every negative thoughts went away. It was so peaceful to visit the temples and enjoy the daily poojas. Apart from pooja, we also enjoyed our water play. We played in water. The food is one of the main things here; you are surely going to love it. There are so many home stays here and everything is neat and clean. The complete stay is tidy and you do not find any difficulty anywhere. In fact, with this kind of home stay, I even enjoyed playing so many activities of Karnataka. I went with my complete family and the kids enjoyed playing in water. We also enjoyed bird watching, trekking and all other activities. This is a place that you must visit and keep it in your ‘must visit’ place.

I would rate this place as 4.5 out of 5 stars. The beauty of nature, water plays and all other things add to the positive things of the place. So you must visit this place and have your own opinion. I am sure that you would not come back disappointed.

Hassan, which is one of the major entry point of district is said to be almost 37 kms from this place. Belur is almost 222km from Bangalore and there are regular buses that can help you get there. KSRTC is there to provide you the buses easily. We also planned a family trip to the beautiful place with the help of KSRTC. Another mode that you can choose is also travelling with train.

After such hot sticky ride with bus, I was able to find the rice paddies and dusty villages. I could see chickens, goats and men sitting around in the place. Soon I was able to see a big statue and the place which is called shravanabelagola. This is one of the sacred places to Jains. We preferred to stay at hotel and then move for our next visit to all major temples. The hotel that we found was almost 6 kms from Hassan. Our hotel stay was awesome as it consists of swimming pool, gardens and everything to give you homely feel. Next we started with our journey to all temples. One of the attractive features about these temples was that they were very finely carved.

When you are visiting all temples and monuments, you would come to know the historical importance of the place. This place was very important in the time of Hoysala kings and also during Chalukyas stay. You would surely feel the vibrancy of that historical time when you visit this place.

I would rate this place as 4 out of 5 stars, as the temples and monuments make you feel the history of the place. You are able to relate everything easily.

There are so many temples everywhere in India. You have great ISCKON temple even in Bangalore. ISCKON temple is also called Radha Krishna temple and it gives you spiritual harmony. It gives you unique combination of glass and gopurams. These ISCKON temples are built on hill tops. We booked our own private car from Bangalore to visit the ISCKON temple. We started early in morning and it was a pleasant journey. The weather was very fine. When we were about to reach the destination, we could feel the religious sentiments. You get completely beautiful surroundings everywhere. The place seems so wonderful and everything is just perfect.

The ISCKON temple was built to promote Vedic culture along with spiritual learning. Since the time it has been found, there have been so many devotees. Many of the foreigners have come here and are staying in the home stay provided by ISCKON. They have made their own life here in ISCKON. The ISCKON temple in Bangalore is built in 7 acre hill lock land. Initially, this land was discarded by BDA or Bangalore Development Authority. Soon, a person, Pundit Dassa purchased this land and thought of constructing the temple. Since then there have been many new promotions in this religious land. Many people come from all over to visit this place. As we reached there in temple, we attended the initial aarti, and then the bhog ceremony. There was no problem with food, as every devotee is given coupon for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food was great and everything went very peaceful.

I would recommend this temple as a must visit who is in Bangalore. I would rate it as 4 out of 5 stars. The quiet and serene environment would be the greatest asset of this place. The moment you enter the place, you forget all your worries and have faith in one supreme power.

Have you ever been to Coorg? I had one of the most amazing experiences in this place. I visited this place with my husband and friends. In fact, I had the best experience here and would love to visit this place again. Right from sightseeing, food and travelling experience, everything is just perfect. This is a place that helps you to be in tune with natural beauty and there is a famous river Cauvery that is one minutes distant from it. It offers you fascinating past and captivating natural beauty that you are bound to admire. It is situated in south western end of Karnataka.

Coorg involves great aromas of coffee plantation and beauty of nature. The food of this place was just amazing. There was special style food that was being prepared in Coorg. You can have your own kind of food and then move for sightseeing. There would be any hotel guide who would be available. He could help you with sightseeing. You can go on short coffee plantation tour with see how the coffee is being roasted easily. There would be so many waterfalls and it feels so nice to see them bathing in them too. One such good fall that we visited was Irpu fall.

There are different kinds of activities that you can do here. First of all as this place is close to nature, you can always go for a nature’s walk. It is altogether different experience when you go for nature’s walk in early morning hours. You feel the difference between polluted city life and fresh natural Coorg environment. Mary land Estate is a famous coffee plantation estate. Kadkani river resort is a great resort where you can even manage to have your vacation stay. Many times, Coorg is also being said to be Scotland of India. As soon as you reach the place, you may be taken to Abbey falls. Then you can further move to Raja’s seat. This place is situated in heart of town itself. It has some of the best breath taking views that is being involved with it. It has been said to be a place where the kings watched the important programs or functions. It includes scenic beauties like towering hills, green valleys, studded and paddy fields etc. you may see a great view when you take the road to Mangalore. It is being defined as most beautiful view in this place.

We went off with our next day plan. Here we started trip to Dubare elephant camp, Cauvery Nisargadhama, Golden Temple Buddhist Monastery, etc. All these places are very important. Once you come to Coorg, apart from enjoying the great weather, you need to follow these places. There are certain travel tips that you must follow. Apart from those travel tips, you may get the most of information about Coorg from the hotel guide. Although, you may be going with other people but getting informed is a must for any one. You may do a bit of shopping but check out when the local shops get close.

If you love nature and you are fond of great weather, then you must visit Coorg. We had a great journey in Coorg and everything was taken care of. This is forcing me to give it 4.5 rating out of 5 stars.

Recently we had a great and memorable trip to Mysore. This place is situated in fertile fields and it is the capital of Wodeyar rulers. As soon as we stepped inside the place, there were many beauties to be seen. We started with the historical monument’s visit. The first one in this series was Maharaja’s Palace or Amba Vilas Palace. This is situated in the heart of city Mysore. It took almost 2-3 hours to visit the place and look out for it. You can find some of the best guides who could help you understand each detail with the palace. When we asked one guide, he had been very helpful and he even helped us with our son who wanted to be guided by him. We were asked to remove our footwear similar to one action we do when we come to a temple.

We further went to temples section. Ranganathswamy temple, which is said to be one of the marvels of South India, is famous for its architectural beauty. It is cited as an example of Vijayanagar and Hoysala schools of architecture. Another temple we went in to was Chamundeshwari temple. It is a temple that is dedicated to goddess chamundeshwari. It is almost 3 kms in south east of Mysore. You can see great picturesque view of the surrounding environment. Apart from the temples, you also have At Philomena’s church. This is an old 18th century monument. This is cited as an example of Neo Gothic architecture. There are many things that we visited in later part of day. There are many museums. You can visit the famous museums of chamarajendra art gallery. This is in Jagmohan palace that was built in 1902. There is interesting collection of antique furniture, musical instruments, ceramics and every other thing. There is splendid collection of paintings and especially by those of Raja Ravi Verma. Another great museum is Manasa Gangotri. It is inside the campus of Mysore University. There are two most visited sites and that includes Oriental research Institute and Folklore Museum. It includes all household objects along with wooden chariots and other things.

Next day we also went to nature’s trial and that included garden and hills. It includes Brindavan gardens and Chamundi hills. Brindavan Hills is situated in north of Mysore city. There are fountains that are illuminated by multi colored lights. This is also said to be one of the most sought after destination in Mysore. It looks like a fairyland in evening. When we visited this place, we tried to capture its beauty in evening. Chamundi hills are one such place that is considered to be a victory of good over evil. All these spots can be easily covered by your transportation.

We had a very entertaining and enjoying Mysore trip. Even you can get the most of this place. You can take help from a guide who could help you. You can manage to take photographs wherever there is no restriction. Surely, it was a memorable trip for us and we enjoyed a lot in Mysore.

Enjoying religious place may not be something that every one of us wants. So this place is great for everyone who wants to see historical places along with religious temple. I would give this place a rating of 4 out of 5 stars.
